OKAY, I have to say - I made a big mistake. I was
getting clusters again in early July. Taking water,
Exedrin, and flexall on my face WAS working. But not
now. In fact, I'm still trying to get my head to think
straight. I had a mind blowing cluster two hours ago.
Anyway, my doctor has me on taking Verapamil - once
in morning and once at night and Imitrex pills when
a cluster begins and then I go on my Oxygen tank till
it passes. The reason the pill is good for me is because
if I don't take it and go my Oxygen tank, it doesn't
break, if I just take OXYGEN and no Imitrex pill, the
cluster comes back 20 minutes later. The pill gives
a lasting affect I guess. My Imitrex is 25 mg and
I have to take it once in the morning and once at night
because that is when my clusters attack. Strange!
Anyway, my neuro says I'm having symptons of rebound
and soon the Imitrex won't relieve me - so he wants
to move me to DHE spray. What is everyone else doing
for their pain? I'm trying to get the latest scoop.
Mine are fierce and so I know I have to be ready for
an attack plan. I'm lucky because my Insurance is
awsome and covers everything. HELP! I eat my words
and I'm in hell!
Oh, visit my web page if your interested. I make these
goofy chickens and I'll even make anyone one if they
want one. I started them one year when I was stuck
at home with clusters. I usually put a big bow on
their silly heads and call it the "headache chicken".
HI NANCY - I'm in HELL!!!!! SHEAR HELL!
