I took Depakote for about 3 months. Didn't do a thing. Doc kept wanting to push the dose higher and higher. I finally said no. If I'm not mistaken the manufacturer says that if doses of appoxametely 900mg. do not work anything above that probably won't work either. Don't know though, maybe high doses help some. About all it did for me besides gas me up was empty my wallet. Good luck with the Verapamil.
