You couldn;t have described a Cluster headache too much better. I realize that you may not be able to see your Dr. for a while so may I suggest something to do in the meantime????? Stand or sit in front of an air conditioner and breathe in the cold air. This can be in your car too. Many is the nights I've sat in my car in the dead of winter with a blanket on, and car running, sitting on the seat sucking the cold air for all it's worth. Even if you don't drink coffee, Make a pot and drink it. The caffeine is an ingredient in a lot of the prescriptions we all take, and it will help. Hope this helps. Linda
