Kathy, You say over and over your husband's doctor won't give him medicine that might help. That tells me that you should dump this sorry excuse for an doctor and find a qualified neurologist. From the tone of your message it sounds like the doctor doesn't know anything about clusters and refuses to educate herself. Everyone at this site knows the pain and suffering your husband is going through. We all have been afraid to go to sleep because we know that is where the devil lurks. Please ask your husband to come on line with us and tell us his story. We can't make the pain stop but we can at least listen if he wants to scream. He's one of us and we don't want to lose him.
