I empathize with your situation and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I can only offer you
my own personal opinion after 24 years fighting the "demon." I, like you, have tried everything tested so far (excluding ritalin) and have finally come to this conclusion; The nature of clusters and their unpredictable cycles makes it almost impossible to determine whether or not a medication is working. I just don't feel you can tell whether the cessation of cluster attacks is due to the medication, or just the natural cycle of the clusters. After these many years I've decided to stop the tortuous trials of different medications. They not only drain me physically, but morally as well. I do the best I can, day to day. That's not to say that I don't have days when a dark cloud of suicidal thoughts envelop me. All I can do is the "one day at a time" thing.
One thing I can say, is this place has made the "one days" much easier.
