Verapamil worked for me for over six months to hold off a cluster. Pregnesone will usually knock out a cycle. In fact I'm on it now. So far three ha is 5 days(limited success). Imetrix in pill, shot or nasal worked for me to knock them out in apr 15 minutes. Unfortunetly I recently had heart angioplasty and can't take Imetrix for instant relief or verapimil to prevent. Right now oxygen is my only savior. It is not convenient to carry tank in the car and people tend to stare but it sure beats the pain.
