Hi, I too am a Cluster Headache sufferer. Actually I've been getting headaches ever since I have been 5 years of age. I'm now 39. About 8 years ago the pain was so intense I was willing to do anything to make it stop. A friend of mine drove to The Toronto Pain and Headache Clinic. The doctor saw me immediately and after a brief consultation did accupuncture and a chiropractic adjustment. He said it was too late for this headache but it would help in the future. I went to him 4 days that first week. Each time it would be needles (which don't hurt at all) and an adjustment. This treatment has greatly reduced the number and severity of my headaches. What a huge relief. I don't know if it will work for everyone but it works for me. I now go to the clinic once a month for continued maintenance. I still get headaches once in a while but never as severe as 'The Boomers' as I affectionally call them. I hope this helps others out there suffering form this horrible pain. I also heard that naturopathic medicine is making great headway(pardon the pun) in the treatment of headache pain. Has anyone try this method? Just curious.
