I use it in conjunction with imitrex at first sign of CH. Sometimes, if I'm awakened from sleep, it's not the first sign. I use a cannula (nose piece) as that is what came with it initialy, and it worked OK. I was prescribed 3 l/p/m/, but I almost never use it running that slow. Usually at least 5, 6,7,. Sometimes it depends upon how many bottles I have left. I try to take slow, deep breaths, but as you know, that's not always possible. And sometimes deep breaths tend to make the CH hurt worse, during the inhale. Anyway, that's how I do it. It usually helps, but not every time. I don't know how to account for that. All the best.
