Hi everyone. I have been visiting this site for several weeks now, due to the beast being back full force. I find it very helpful to read others messages and see that I am not alone like I believed for 25 years. All of a sudden there are many, many of us. Too bad in one respect. In another respect it is a blessing. How many of you have ever been to an AA or NA meeting where everyone stands up and says they are some kind of substance abuser? Ever notice how many cups of coffee and how many cigarettes are consumed? Everyone is in one room because they have a common problem. But, everyone does not agree on every point, there seems to be a few in the group who to others have formed a "clique", and sometimes things are said and feelings are hurt. Yet, those same people fill up the coffee pots and clean the ashtrays for the next meeting because they know just about everyone will be back. It's the same with us people. We are our' own unique source of understanding and compassion. We all know these things hurt like nothing else, and we have all said things we later regret while in pain. There is not a one of us here on this message board that wishes they had never even heard of cluster headaches. Thanks DJ for this site. I do NOT apologize for the length of this post. Yesterday is history, tommorrow is mystery, today is a gift.
