I agree with Linda - try the water treatment! It sounds really simply but it's quite difficult to accomplish. It's hard to drink that much water. There are some precautions to take and you should check with your doc before you start it just in case you have kidney or liver probs but, it BROKE my husband's cycle in two days and ENDED it within the week. He noticed a dramatic reduction of pain after just one day. If the beast wakes you in the night, drink another glass. You will become intimately familiar with your bathroom but who cares, right?
It doesn't work for everyone but it has had amazing results for some. Linda B and lcbob are our best pupil and being religious about drinking enough is the secret. So you sprout leaves, so what? We have seen another cycle trying to start up for my husband (you know, the droopy eye) and if he starts pounding the water again, the symptoms disappear within a few hours. He is now in his 9th month of remission and we're keeping our fingers crossed and his glass full.
