I can hardly believe this, and want to share it with you all - yesterday the beast lay down, and I knew the minute it had. This cycle has been the oddest in 24 years, and I have to admit it scared the hell out of me. Better the devil you know, than the one you don't. Eight weeks ago after 22 months remission, they started, but closer to BAM (basilar artery migraine. I knew the beast was in there, but it didn't roar for about a week, and then it wouldn't shutup. Day in, day out, up to a dozen headaches a day, I was beside myself. Then last week, I found by chance, this wonderful site....you guys are all wonderful, kind, loving and compassionate...and with a sense of humor too. You couldn't ask for more from a group of friends or family. The beast has played me with this time, and that is what I have found SO hard. Normally it goes out with an explosion....what this all means I dread to think, I can only hope.
My stockpiling starts tomorrow....I play those SOB's at their own game.. by the time Vegas rolls around, I should have quite the cache!! You've made me laugh, you've made me cry, you've bought out the best of me....I can only say a humble thankyou...I will think of you daily, and post if I think if may help someone - you will never any of you, be far from my heart or thoughts.
I have a pretty vivid imagination, and I would like to leave you all with my colorful mental picture of some of you - David Chalfant, I see you as Frazier, Kipp - Burt Reynolds, Barbara - Miss Ellie(Dallas), Margi - Lucille Ball, Annie - Goldie Hawn, Lars - Dolph Lundgren, Erik - Arnold Schwartznegar(sp?), Phil C - the Pope, Drummer - Andy Sipowitcz(NYPDBlues)....A Dame (I'm working on you - you have many profiles to me!!). & ME, well I look like Claudia Schiffer!!!!!! To coin the phrase of the week "NO OFFENCE". I wish you all a fond, albeit it, temporary farewell, and wish your beast would lay down with mine...love you guys....Judi
