Sometimes now that I am now going through a series (at this very moment) I don't have time to read ever post. But, just let the Beast stick up his ugly face again and this Message Board becomes my refuge. There are some posts that contain jokes, some with crys for help, or people just wanting to vent, whatever the reason. The main thing is that they are HERE for information on Cluster Headaches and for much needed support from others that care and love us.
I am fairly new to the site, but I too consider these people part of my extended family. As for me this constant referring of a "Clique" you know I am not part of it, because I spelled it "Click", I didn't even know how to spell it, let alone be part of it. Meeting these people bring them even closer now. Claudette is like a sister to me now. I know I can turn to any number of people here at any time of day or night and they will respond. Even my "Knight In Shinning Armour" in Italy "Riccardo". I am pretty sure that Riccardo, nor Lars understand this old "Southern Belle" from Georgia, but they care and they want to contribute to www.clusterheads.com. Reading Lars' account of the Lunar Eclipse the other evening was relaxing and it took me to Germany and France during his description of his day and the eclipse. I truly enjoyed it, even though it as Lars said didn't have anything to do with CH.
I owe a great deal to many, many of our family members for their kind words and love during the 12 days of shear terror battling the Demon. I have received more information here......well, you know what I mean here.... Just thank you one and all.
I want to know how Anne Thomas if feeling following her surgery on the 11th, and any one else that has a serious illness, surgery, or family member that is ill. Just like I know you guys will be thinking about me when I go under the knife on August 25th. Isn't that what a family is all about, caring and sharing????
I hope if anyone has a problem and I can help in any way, please call me, I will do what I can and if I can't help in any other way except to say a prayer for you, then you can at least count on me for that.
I won't even apologize for this post being long, just don't know shorthand anymore. Some things just need to be said. To me this website and our ever-growing family members are PRICELESS. The ones that are the first to complain and grip are the last ones to offer love and support. For those all I can say is "HOW NICE"!
