I went to a site today called "Healthology". Was drawn to to to it
by a report done of Fox News Channel pertaining to headaches. I felt
like I was back at good ol' K-Mart with the blue light flashing. At
the site link below, If you read the article "Headaches - an Overview"
written by a Stephen Emond MD, you will see that the pain from cluster
headaches can be remedied by anti-inflamitory drugs like ibuprophen.
Gee, wonder why any of us never thought of that. Anyone EVER had
ibuprophen even come close to touching a CH? I sure haven't. He
also does give a slight reference to oxygen, but pretty much makes
CHs sound like they aren't much at all.
When you look into the page of their site about the faculty, the top
of the page states that they are committed to giving out the very
best of information. Oop, did I miss something? This site does
have a message "forum" to which I couldn't help but post my obvious
feelings about that article, and basically letting them know that
it's because of many doctors NOT knowing about this that keeps us
going from doctor to doctor until we can find one with a clue.
Sorry about going on and on, but it seems like this guy must be
a BLSD, and he really torked me off. Gee can you tell?
