Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings, thank you Lord I can hear. There are many who are deaf.
Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible, thank you Lord, that I can see. Many are blind.
Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank you Lord that I have strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.
Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burnt and tempers are short, my children are so loud, thank you Lord, for my family There are many who are lonely.
Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magaines and our menu is most times unbalanced, thank you Lord, for there are many that go hungry each day.
Even though I grumble and complain about having to go to work each day, thank you Lord, that I have a good job. There are many that have lost their jobs and can't seem to find another.
Let us not forget the ones that are not as fortunate as we are, we have found a strength in each other. We build our knowledge from other's experiences with CH. I am very thankful to DJ for creating this wonderful website and also to our growing family that cares and sees us through another series of Clusters.
I wonder if there are any of us that have a disability. Being deaf, blind, anything like that. I sure would hate to be suffering from CH being blind or deaf, or a child that can't tell anyone how much they hurt. It is frightening enough for me with no disability or restriction.
Wishing all of you a painfree & peaceful night.
