I too am awakened by my CH. No warning. 10 when my eyes open to the severe blinding pain.
I found this web during my last series that lasted 12 days. I went to bed much, much later than usual because I was too afraid to go to sleep because the Beast would come. I don't know if I could stand 2 or 3 10+s in the same night. The one that awoke me at 1:05 am, I wrestled with it until 3:30. First throwing up, laying on bathroom floor, Imetrex Injection, O2, repeats until about 3:30 and then slept until later in the morning or later than usual. My job doesn't require that I punch a clock, Thank You God for My Wonderful Job, but for those who do punch a clock, I don't know how you survive. You are stronger than I am. When I worked for the Federal Government, I was salary and a very understanding boss. If I had to make up work, get caught up typing minutes to Board Meetings, etc. I had keys to the building and would come in at 4 or 5 in the morning. I would just call the local county sheriff's office and they would be waiting for me and watch until I was safely locked in my building. I had a very understanding Executive Director. But, now I just hurt myself if I don't work.
Lars, since I am getting older and the CH attacks are harder than they use to, would you help me remember to stay awake until the wee hours of the morning and then go to sleep to try and fool the Beast. Maybe changing my sleep pattern will help me abort a bad 10 that occur with me during the hours between 1 -4 a.m.
Thanks Lars for Your Posts, I am always interested in your posts.
