Yep, (not all the time) get those weird lights also. Never thought about them as neon snakes, but sounds pretty right to me.
Sorry you're a member of this group, but we're here for you. 2 1/2 years? That sounds like heaven to me. I'm chronic and haven't had a "let up" in about that long. Have almost forgotten what it would be like NOT to hurt.
