I've just started trying the Imitrex spray. I, too,
found that it didn't abort the h/a. However, when
I start inhaling oxygen shortly after using the
spray, the h/a disappears within 30 min.
My doctor said his patients have largely found the
spray ineffective. Apparently, they find the tablets
more effective. Of course, the injection is the
most effective. So many people have posted that
it helps tremendously.
By the way, the nasal spray comes in 5 mg dosage.
I don't think it's available in a higher dose.
