You need more help than your getting for sure.
Reads a lot like lithium. It's a neuro something so it seems likely a neurologist would script it.
Abbot's not sure what the mechanism is but they will keep getting approvals until they can make some real money.
Started off as an anti-siezure.
Got approved as manic depressive.
Now for migraine.
Bet it's not cheap. If it were, they wouldn't be going to all the trouble for studies.
There have been a lot of things approved for migriane and there are still a lot of people having them.
Every body keeps shooting at the symptoms. I guess they figure they can't tackle the cause until they can manage them, but it hasn't worked yet. I wonder how many cluster or migraine folks will be cured by this stuff? Ask him.
It could be we've been looking at this thing bass ackwards you know. But then there wouldn't be any thing to study or write about.
Anti-fungals did it for me, and others. If it makes anybody feel more comfortable, I won't claim it cured me; I'll just say it has permenantly controlled my symptoms.
Military docs have a great opprotunity to study this thing right. They've (the military) probably got more to gain than anybody if it worked.
They've probably got the biggest group to do a
study with as well. Would like to see the incidence rate of cluster in the armed forces.
Why don't you try and convince this guy that he'll be famous and you'll be his first guinea pig?
I'm serious. If they've got the means to communicate and are all working towards the goal of more productivity and readiness in the forces, this may be the ticket.
As a group military docs probably see more clusters in a month than a civillian neuro gets to see in a whole career. They've got a great opprotunity.
Your a salesman and a smart kid DJ. Do your stuff.
