I have been taking these for 5 years. I take 2 when I smell em coming and that usually runs them off. They aren't real strong narco's but then again I'm an old Deadhead from the 60's so it takes quite a dose of anything to space me out.
The ones that wake me up are the nasties. They are usually too advanced so I eat two or more and steel myself for a 30 - 45 min. Kip Scale 8 to 10er. I'm kinda settled into this regiment and it "works" for me. They are relatively inexpensive with my ins. copay and I have a running script with my pharmacist.
I feel very fortunate compared to what I read from many of my fellow CHer's.Mine are left side episodic coming twice a year for 2 - 3 months varying from 3 per day( so that's 6 to 10 tablets in 6 hrs) to 1 every 3 days. Theres no telling.
I do suck O2 when it gears up. I can't say that it works miracles but I do it out of faith that if it cuts 1 minute off the pain I'll try it.
