I have a problem with not remembering things also. The doctor told me it is a symptom of clusterheadaches. Something about neurons in the brain misfire and they don't reach their destination nueron, and due to this intruption in the flow, you forgot something.
Not sure if it is the reason, but it sounded good at the time.
