I am sorry we didn't get to talk long the Sat. at drummer's place. I'm sure we would have gotten along fine. I'm sorry you had a ch while we were there. I didn't know you had it until you told me. I thought you went in for a "nap"....Some supporter I'd make, huh?? Anyway, I found that every ch-er and supporter I met, you, Barb D., Kip, Judy, Todd, Drummer, Laurie, Megan, Sara and Heather are all "normal" people. Well, some "more normal" than others!! There were no wackos! I wish we could have stayed longer......next time.
Regarding your daughter, Heather. She is a great person. She and I talked a little, as she played with Megan and Sara. The teacher in me noticed a quality in her that would make a good teacher. She was great with those 2 kids, along with being a great support for you. She has the kindness and compassion that is needed in today's schools. As I watched her, I asked her what she did and she told me she "just worked". She also added, however, that she was thinking about going to school. Usually I am pretty good at judging who would be good in "my field" and who would not.
I think she's got what it takes. Please let her know that.
As I said, maybe next time we will get to talk longer. Once I get going, tho', you can't shut me up. Drummer can vouch for that.
