I have had some messages sent to me on this matter because they were afraid their employer might find this web site and didn't want to air themselves in public.

Documentation of days you are out sick with CH is very important. None of us run to the doctor or ER everytime we have a CH or even a Series Going for that matter. We have oxygen in our homes, most of us do anyway and the rest will soon get it from reading all these post concering a good way to abort), we have Imitrex Injections, or one of a dozen other meds that keep the Demon at bay, and other ways of dealing with this monster that attacks at a moments notice.

Call your doctor's office and notify them that you have a CH and will be missing work. Ask them to document this on your chart.

Your employer may fire you, however, you will have good documentation and availability for a doctor's letter verifying your CHs and will enable you to draw your unemployement if it becomes necessary.

Please check each states rules on reasons to terminate, as each state is different.

I am only posting this for others by their request. If you too are afraid to post directly, just E-mail one of your buddies here and we will pass it on for you.

A Dame
