There is certainly a concern about electrolytes when drinking very large volumes of water. The most important thing is to keep a good diet...foods that would help replace those salts lost.
The problem is that your kidneys can not create pure water urine...salts are added. If you drink enough water (different for each person...their level of kidney function, etc), you can get into a little trouble.
If you are really going after the water treatment aggressively, it is probably worth discussing with your doctor...electrolytes are very easy to check. Might as well play it safe.
Sports drinks are very good at replacing electrolytes lost (Gatoraid, etc). Substituting pure water for one of the sports drinks may be beneficial...though some people on this board have posted that this made the water treatment less effective. Nothing is formally been studied about this water treatment...so it's hard for me to say.
