I've seen a few postings here about Verapamil. A word
of caution. When I took it, I started having dizzy
spells and almost passed out several times. Turns out Verapamil
should not be used if you have real low systolic blood
pressure (which I do)--around 90 or less.
When I called my doctor about my reaction (Dr. Lee
Kudrow, who is a cluster sufferer and supposed expert
on clusters), he got all bent out of shape and said,
"Well, I've never heard of THAT before!" Later, in
the emergency room of a hospital, the nurse showed me
that this effect is clearly mentioned in the PDR. So,
I would say to anyone going on any drug, do your own
research in addition to talking to your doctor.
