When I had my first bout with the demon, I went to my dentist because my jaw hurt so much. He diagnosed me with TMJ and said that every muscle on the right side of my face (my headaches are right sided) was in spasm. He injected me with a long acting novacaine on that side and it gave me some relief for a couple weeks. Unfortunately, during the next cycle I was not as fortunate. Like some of the others have said, I also got a splint to wear at night but that doesn't help too much. Hope things get better for you!
