in my 43 years of experience, clusters can hit at any time, any place, anywhere. However, they strike most often on weekends, at night, on vacation, or when I'm otherwise relaxing. I got fired and went into remission at the same time, so, for me, stress is clearly not a factor. Like, I'm 62 and I haven't been able to find a job advertised in my field with a salary that comes within even $13,000/year of the job that I lost. And that's assuming that someone my age could get hired in the first place. For me, that's pretty stressful, but it's had no effect on the remision of my clusters. They haven't come back.
