Michael,
Although I feel sympathy for those of you in a situation where you don't feel supported (personal and professional), you all have the ability to make choices.
Some of you sound clinically depressed and perhaps should seek help with that. In all odds, your clusters will not go permanently away. If that depresses you, causes you to lose your job, then you need to seek psychiatric help/counselling.
The solution is not to go around telling everyone to look at this website or what part of the scale your headache is at.
The solution is to build a life that meets your needs.
I've had clusters for 17 years yet managed to get three degrees, a great career and a great partner and I cope quite well with my headaches.
It's all choice and up to you.
