I can't remember all the ones that were tried on me as a teenager. My dad was a pharmaseutical salesman for the doctors way back when and they came into his store and ordered their supplies personally (in Chattanooga, TN) and of course he would ask them what he should give me for those awful sick headaches (migraines as we know today) However, developed into Clusters and was finally diagnosed in mid to late 70's as Clusters. That physician understood, however, he died of cancer and I no longer have that arm for support. I have been feeling around in the dark for several years since then, coming up against a brick wall as far as physicians or specialists in this area.
So glad there is a place for me to go now for support and I don't even have to leave my house, put on make-up, comb my hair or anything. I can sit here crying, with little clothes on and no one knows the difference. What a blessing to be able to do this from the privacy of your own home, and believe you me I am not a pretty sight after fighting these for several days. I don't want to see anyone, go any where, nothing. Know I can get my mind off it for a while and vent, share, ask questions, or whatever. It helps just to take your mind off it for a while.
Someone named Riccardo sent me a message this morning that said when he has ringing in one ear that it is a sign that his session is over.
Amanda had a very intelligent response of why we hear the ringing in one ear. I am a left-sided sufferer, however, the ringing was in my right ear.
Thanks to you all
