So sorry you were robbed, keep being thankful that you were not hurt. CVAP. (Crime Victims Assistant Program) is a federally funded program, each county in this country has a chapter, your local United Way chapter can get you the number or your local police dept may have it for you. CVAP should be able to offer you some free short-term counseling if you would like to address your rage, and feelings of being violated. CVAP programs also have crime victims advocates that may be able to assist you in dealing with debts that you incurred due to being robbed, advocates can make phone calls on your behalf, and may put you in touch with local programs to address personal safety. I formally worked with CVAP part of my salary was funded by them, I worked here in NY and we had an excellent program, programs vary. Don't beat yourself up, be thankful and do something nice for yourself today. Happy you did'nt get hurt, I have seen and counseled victims who have suffered such horror. Be well.
