Sorry my message got repeated. I am new to the internet and to this web site. It is wonderful to me to have such good support. In over 20 years I have never talked to someone that actually had Cluster Headaches, except my brother and he has never been officially diagnosed. He was always told he had Migraines as I was diagnosed until the middle to end of the 70s. That is a long time not knowing anyone that experienced this terrible pain. No one I talked to understands. My other brother even told my Sunday School Teacher yesterday that I was out because of a Migaine Headache. He said she understood because she had them too. You see everyone always says oh yea I have those headaches too or my sister has them, my father has them, etc. But, they don't have the kind of headache we "Cluster Heads" have. They just don't understand. Everyone says go get in a dark room, throw up, take something (Tylenol, etc.) and be quiet. It will pass and you will be alright. They just don't understand the shear panic that sets in thinking it will strike again without any warning!
Don't mean to preach, but no one understands unless they have Clusters and that is why I am so grateful I found all of you. Bless each and every one of you. I sure hope that through our efforts, someone----anyone can finally find a cure and help all of us that are suffering.
