The Stadol....I didn't know people were using that.
I hate Stadol. They gave that to me as a pre-op for surgery 14 or 15 years ago. After that injection I couldn't move. I could not speak. I had a room-mate in the hospital and I could not even get her attention to wake her and tell her I was in trouble. I had the worst nightmares everytime I dozed off. I was trying with all my might to fight this off. I had enough medical knowledge to know this is going to wear off in 3-4 hours, however, I was terrified and didn't think I could live that long. After I don't know how long, I managed to get the call button to the nurse. When she got down to my room and saw what condition I was in I was able to communicate some and managed to get out what did you give me. She immediately told me Stadol. They put me in a tub of cold water, washing my face over and over, called my doc and I almost had my surgery cancelled all because of a pre-op called Stadol.
I hallucinated on that stuff. If, If, anyone ever gives that to me again I will sue......That is one of the first things I tell a doctor, hospital, etc. not to every give me Stadol. I was so scared even knowing it would wear off in a few hours. I know that if I had been a senior citizen that it could have thrown them into a heart attack. I have never been so scared.
From reading your desperate letter, I am wondering if you got so desperate from the reaction from Stadol.
