I am a 40 year old female and have been getting Ch's since I was 19.
One of my many specialists told me that a bout of them should only last about 10 years. Not so.
I am still getting them - My last one being after a 2 year break.
In my younger days I used to get them 4 times a year - almost seasonal!
But I was lucky in that my doctor diagnosed me quite quickly, and I think I've tried everything!
I still find breathing pure oxygen the best - although I find that using the oxygen often seems to put
off a couple of bouts only to give me an all day one a couple of days later.
I have also heard that the hypothalymus might have something to do with CH.
But in that it regulates the heat of your body, and I can't control my body heat when I have CH's
It is great to know that I am not the only one - as you feel you are- getting these.
People always seem to compare them to migraines and always have lots of advice, which you as a CH
sufferer knows doesn't work. I get sick of trying to explain it to people.
I have only just found this web site. It's great
