For those of us that are also affected by anxiety and depression as a result of these cottin pickin clusters and have not had much success with prescription anti-depressants, here's something to look at. I've tried every SSRI on the market,(prozac, etc.)and even though they may help with depression some, the side effects are ridiculous. From emotional blunting to loss of libido just to name a few. As far as I'm concerned, they suck. I've been researching a molecule that is found in every living cell nicknamed SAMe (sammy). Research has showed in double blind studies that it is at least as effective in improving major depression as many of the popular prescription anti-depressants. It is actually an over the counter and cheap too (GNC makes a version of it). Very few reported side effects. I would suggest doing a an internet search for SAMe (just as it looks). There is a lot of info out there. I'm going to give it a shot. Anybody else know of anything about SAMe?
