Altho' in remission, and having no major problems with ch, I feel I can respond to your post. As some would say, "YAHOO!" (See, Drummer, I'm coming our of my shell....better watch out.)
Anyway, back to Mike. Relaxation was "the" trigger for me this past cycle. Get home from work, sit and read, watch TV, whatever, and BOOM--a ch. An hour or so after going to bed, BOOM--another one. On week-ends, if I happened to take a nap during the day, BOOM--a ch. Working at the computer, BOOM--you guessed it. So, what I would try to do, especially if I was alone, was to keep busy doing anything. Keeping my mind going, as well as my body, seemed to keep the ch away. It didn't work all of the time, but a great deal of the time. Eventually I couldn't keep up the pace, the chs came more often and more intense. So, I went on lithium. I was then able to relax without worry.
