Hi, I was worked up at Mayo last year and followed up with Dr. Swanson (the head of their HA clinic). They are the most professional and compassionate folks I've ever encountered. Unfortunately, miracles just don't happen. I had virtually tried every conceivable combo etc. They encouraged me to try "new, experimental" therapies etc.....and I continue. You need a local HA specialist / neurologist to manage the day to day problems. Mayo is great for ruling out other medical problems and covering all the bases. Personally, I was a patient at Diamond for some time and found the staff quite unprofessional and unsympathetic. I would not personally endorse them openly to others without some guidance / tips.
