Imitrex injectable will cure almost any cluster headache for me
in 5 minutes. But the headache often will return 30 to 60 minutes
later.
Imitrex nasal spray works in 20 to 40 minutes, but the headache
returns. Plus, often, one spray isn't enough; I have to use a
second for the headache to be touched.
Imitrex pills I haven't used very much, perhaps someone else can
tell us how they've worked.
Amerge lasts much longer, but takes longer to start working. It
takes about an hour to take effect.
Zomig seems to be a nice in-between, taking effect in 20 to 40
minutes. The headache doesn't come back. So it's a pill that's
as quick as Imitrex nasal spray, more effective, and lasts longer.
