Hi Duane,
I'm 54 and have had them since 1964 or so. I did have an 8 year break (ended last month). I know that Kip (a highly respected retired gentleman) :) is a bit older than I am and has had them for about 50 years I believe.
Hang in there and who knows what may be developed to treat them.
