Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it. I've experienced the demon at 30,000 feet and you're wise to avoid that situation. It's impossible to pace in a 2'x2' lavatory, and flight crews tend to take a dim view on passengers who rip out the jumpseats to beat themselves on the head with.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that your cycle breaks, mostly for your comfort but also in the hopes of meeting you next w/e.
