As a cluster sufferer for 20 years and also a mother I would have to say, in terms of pain, they are about the same. However, you get what is pretty much a miracle with one and the other just leaves you frightened and fearful of the next. This is only my opinion and I'm curious to see the other responses. Has your wife read any of these posts? I know my husband, who is very supportive, found it a bit hard to understand the pain I was in and thought it was just a bad headache. After showing him a few of these posts he has a whole new understanding. I feel for your wife and all the spouses who have to share their loved ones with these monsters. Good luck.
