Does anyone out there have an additional diagnosis of pulsatile tinnitus? I have it in my left ear and ear the 'ocean roar' 24 hours a day 365+ days a year. As I explained to my audiologist, the only time I can get the sound to stop is if I press on my carotid artery. Needless to say he suggested that I don't do that too often. (I only do it when listening to a certain weatherman on tv...must have just the same frequency in his voice as the roar in my ear).
Before being diagnosed with CPH, my doc thought I had trigeminal neuralgia. After having an MRI to rule out nasty problems (which they were), my pictures show my basal artery does a goofy twist and turn. Doc isn't sure it has any significance to the CPH. Just checking to see if anyone else has such an odd combination.
Thanks...
