Michele. I unlike the two answer-ers I see to your question, I am female and have CPH.
I'm on indocin. I don't really care for the stomach upset I get with a full dose of 50mg
but if I take it with food it seems to work. Usually I try to take 1/2 dose and it can
also help if I take it soon enough.
I went in with the thought I had a severe, one-sided sinus headache.
My primary care physician said I didn't, but thought I may have trigeminal neuralgia (TNS).
My grandmother had TNS, so I was concerned as I know what she went through. I was referred
to a neurologist who took an MRI to rule any bad things out...they were...and diagnosed me
with CPH (with possible TNS...but very, very mild).
I hope all works for you. I've had great success...except for today. That's why I'm
checking out the net for CPH info. I came to work without my meds and have had several
episodes already today. I haven't had any pain in weeks. Guess that will teach me to
fill my pockets in the morning. Keep your meds with you...just in case. If I ever meet
you I may need to borrow some. Ha!
