Thanks, first of all, for all of the thoughtful FOB's ("Friends" of the Beast) who wrote after my first posting about a week ago. Headaches still ongoing, but as I'm 8 weeks into this episode, I live in hope that this round will soon be over.
Anyway, this is only my second round, and I noticed that (no news to you folks), treatment seems...well, eclectic.
Some people get drugs, some oxygen, some MRI's and some spinal taps.
My last MRI was 18 months ago...any opinions on whether I should ask for one once again...
Seems this can't be quite real/normal. Or am I ALWAYS going to think that this is cancer/lesion/death at the door?
Any notes regarding treatment protocols, especially regarding necessary testing would be appreciated.
I will respond to all. Not immediately, but soon.
Thanks.
Elizabeth
