I once had the misfortune to spend fiften years under the so-called “care” of one of these your-real-problem-is-the-rebound-headache-so-I’m-not-going-to-prescribe-anything-that-might-actually-ease-your-pain-until-you’ve-spent-at-least-two-weeks-begging-me-so-that-I-can-be-sure-that-this-isn’t-another-rebound-headache doctors. My opinion of these “rebound” doctors, based upon personal experience, is that they’re full of shit. The guy you’re quoting is from Johns Hopkins? My torturer was from Harvard. I do have to give my guy credit for being the first correctly to diagnose my problem as cluster headaches, though. I have to admit that that fact alone was a real blessing.
