You both have a point. The real point is there isn't any fixed support method. All of the "partners" need to check with the sufferers to see how they want to be supported. In my cast I don't want anything, attention, light, sound, slight movements. It all bothers me when I'm getting hit. Some sympathy after the HA goes a long way though.
