I am fairly new to this site. Have been reading posts and archives for about three months. Site is great, OUCH makes sense, and convention is also good BUT what should the focus be? After reading so many posts about terrible experiences with docs, er's, etc., that I have experienced also, I would suggest that we take it to the medical community directly. For instance what about a (2001)convention - same local/date as AMA,etc. convention and ask to be represented with a speaker there, invite them to CHer's??/ As you might have guessed I'm not extremely impressed with the medical community but basically they're our future and for now they have our major forms of releif locked in their precription pads.
