Vioxx is an anti-inflamatory/painkiller,it is
relatively new and as far as I know was just
approved by the FDA in the spring. It is mainly
used for osteoarthrtis and acute pain. I do not
think they are fully aware of long term side
effects, but you should be very careful if you
have ulcers or stomach problems because this
drug can cause gastro-intestinal bleeding.
you really should ask your doctor or pharmacist
to give you all the information they have so you
can make an informed choice and know what possible
side effects can occur.
