"Methysergide should be used primarily when a patient does not respond to other types of treatment. There are side effects
associated with prolonged use, including kidney, heart, and liver problems. The effects are cumulative. Thus, patients taking this
medication must stop it for a one to two month period for every six months of treatment. Methysergide should not be taken by
pregnant women or people with coronary, circulatory, kidney, lung, or liver problems, or hypertension."
I strongly urge that you investigate the usage of any drug. You can expect more postings from others at this site. Perhaps inhalation of 100% O2 would have the least chance of side effects. I really hope you can get the help you need.
