Hi George. You sound a lot like me. I'm 45 and I've had these all of my adult life. I went for years with just aspirin and my cycles are 21 to 23 months apart. When in a cycle I would get a 4 hour headache ever 2 to 3 days. As you say just like clock work. The first time I took medication for these I also worried about leaving well enough alone...that I could make it worse. But in my case I didn't think that was possible.
I agree with you about the chemical imbalance. And I do understand what you are going through.
