Nothing is nuts if it works. I've seen Mike chase the beast away by brushing his teeth! A tad vigoursly, I might add, but it was amazing to watch. I could see the storm cloud building in his eye, heard his "Oh Shit" sigh that always signals an attack. He went upstairs, brushed his teeth and while I was preparing the ice bag and the O2 tank getting ready for the onslaught, he came back downstairs and announced "It's gone." It's almost like the Beast just sits back on his heels or something. Like those funnel clouds that form and convince you Armageddon is upon us and then all of a sudden just disappear. Or maybe the Beast got a call that he has to answer somewhere else. Who knows? Who cares? Whatever works!
