I've had Lithium work for me a couple of cycles. It worked great, too -- my only side effect was a little trembling of the hands at high doses (1800 mg per day). At 1200 and below, no side effect at all except it did tend to improve my attention span (I guess I'm just a little teensy bit bipolar without it).
1200 mg per day worked 100 percent on the CH's, by the way. I'd still get the precursors (ringing in my ear, tightness in my neck) but the pain wouldn't come. This year it failed me though, and only Prednisone seems to do the trick. Next year it might work again, or it might be Sansert, or Verapamil.
